Faye Jean (Miss Faye) McGee, 54, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her residence. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Myers & Smith Chapel with Pastor Holston Banks and Minister Kathy McGee, officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM at Hamlin East Cemetery in Hamlin, Texas. She was born December 23, 1957 in Hamlin, Texas to Johnny B. (Green) Marshall and John Charles Marshall, Sr. She was a longtime resident of Big Spring. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for over 15 years and as a private sitter. She is survived by her special friend Steve Sanford and the father of her children, Ray McGee, Sr. and the McGee family; one son: Ray;step-daughters: Dawntavia Ghant and Karissa Mitchell McGee of Big Spring; three daughters: Alisha Fay McGee and Ernest Silvas of Big Spring, April McGee Franks and husband David of Big Spring and Angela McGee of Big Spring; grandchildren: Minnie Skye, Donisha, Dario, T.L., Nek, Jasa, D.J., Dreson, Quae, J-onyce, Vadaijha and Kamariah; two brothers: Shelton Marshall and Wayne (Cadillac) Marshall both of Hamlin; two sisters: Mary Ann Coleman and Bonnie Crumpton both of Abilene; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends, and her best friend Jody Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: May June Marshall (her twin) and Eddie May Jeffery; two brothers: John Charles Marshall, Jr. and Larry Marshall and one grandson Keith.
